StarCraft 2 Battle Chest– My childhood was very StarCraft filled. StarCraft 2 is a great game and this battle chest is a great way to get the base game and the expansion on the cheap! $19.95 (Amazon)
Date: June 7th
Start time: 8pm CT
Game: Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii)
It’s Sunday, we’re well rested and ready to party, Animal Crossing style! In an effort of accommodating my global audience, I did my second round of an afternoon stream. My pals from the UK and Europe were able to watch the stream. Overall, there were just two good highlights. One is me trying to catch bees, and I’m very pro at it, trust me:
The other highlight is the redemption of our first Revlo reward, Hot Pepper eaten on the live stream. Special thanks to Cozmic_Lights for her noble efforts:
Overall, Animal Crossing is favorite of mine and a favorite for a whole bunch of other people. Glad to be able to share the joys that is Animal Crossing. Great Stream!
The stream was stable on all fronts. I was really happy for this. There was some minor skips here and there, but nothing major. I’m also starting to archive my live stream on YouTube. The hope is to offer people the ability to watch the stream if they miss it. I may need to adjust my microphone audio by 5ms for syncing purposes.

Moved back to 540p following the bpp 0.1 method. The quality seems good, but not the best. I also found out that I should not be using the Dallas servers to stream, as a lot of people in my chat were complaining about the streaming being crappy.
After a clumsy start, I was able to watch a few live streams playing Sunset Overdrive and learned a lot of what I was doing wrong.
This time around, things were more fluid and there was a lot more progression! There was a lot of fixation of me eating a pepper on the live stream. I need to figure a way to defuse that.

This is very much top of mind. I’ve done a lot of research around this topic and using the 0.1bpp formula to find the right ratio https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/2dz7ru/bitrates_resolutions_and_quality
I’m going to try out 540p at 1555kbps @ 30fps tonight with Mario Kart 8, which is a fast motion game.
