Woo! It’s good to be back. After a weekend of planning/hosting a LAN Party to hanging out with some pals watching WWE Payback. Coming back into the week with Super Mario 3D World. Game: How to Survive (PC) PayDay 2 (PC)

I was pumped. I was ready, ready to play How to Survive. I was looking forward to starting out a brand new game. After 20 minutes of gameplay, my chat and I were not feeling it… at all.

I had to quickly change games so I decided on PayDay 2 to try out the lifestyle as a bank robber. Thing went in a different direction.

Personally I felt the stream went south due to unexpected bad games. Lessons to learn here, screen your games, even if you want to have a vanilla experience. Also, PayDay 2 is a great game. Lastly, be careful when brewing your coffee. I used a smaller mug which requires less water. Because of that, I downed my coffee too fast and had a coffee headache towards the end of the stream. Wasn’t feeling hot at all.

I was able to play some PayDay 2 with Cryptometric and we’re looking to plan for a dual stream sometime next week. Looking forward to that.

I really loved how PayDay 2 looked with the frame rate at 540p. I’m debating if my microphone audio is needs an increase in levels, not too sure yet.

Tonight was the 2nd session of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. I had a lot of great Garden Warfare fans come into the chat and we’re looking to do some Co-op soon! Below was my highlight of the night. Plain and simple. No frills.

Tonight’s stream transitioned over to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for PC. The stream consists of me getting my butt handed to, then I get some key pointers from my wonderful chat, I making progress, then stinking all over again.

Also, my teammates at Dinosaur Mustache dropped by to support the stream. Really glad to see us support one another. Huge kudos to them!

The chat went in a different direction tonight that cause a lot of laughter and understand of what a 13 foot something can and can not do. I intentionally did not post any highlights here, but feel free to watch the broadcast to see why, specifically 1:35:26

Game: Don’t Starve (PC)

Jumped right into Don’t Starve where I was on Day 21. I was so proud of my progress until I got murdered by monsters! Granted, I wasn’t in the best of shape, but I didn’t think I’d go that soon!

The things about this game is that you grow so attached to what you built. When you die and it all goes away….it hurts! Starting over I knew better on how to start things off, so I thought. It takes me 5 days to find the building pieces to make my first progression.

I was lied to!

My girlfriend has now gotten into Don’t Starve, so maybe, just maybe we will play Don’t Starve Together!

I increased the resolution of my webcam to 720P to help with some of the quality concerns I had with my pretty little face. I also updated the channel and stream with some basic graphics to give it some flair. I would love some feedback on what else I can do to help the stream, presentation wise.

I will say that Don’t Starve is a much slower pace game and a few of my regulars enjoy it, it certainly don’t have mass appeal. I’m happy to leave it in my rotation because I have a lot of fun with the game, but I will consider more faster pace games in the future. It’s Mother’s day tomorrow, so take the day off the Internet! I know I am. I will be streaming Super Mario 3D World on Monday! See you then.
